This morning, while having a look at my social media feeds, I came across this comment from a family friend. Here is what they had to day: Ferries were 90+ percent full last night and are filling up this morning too. Quite concerned about what this means. BC was doing so well, but I bet there is a spike in new cases in the next two weeks especially on the island and in smaller communities 😢 . Haven’t seen my son in weeks. My Mom is in hospital in Kamloops and no one can visit. We are all suffering so let’s suck it up and be diligent until Dr. Bonnie Henry says otherwise. Rant over!!! So just for interest sake, I checked out the BC Ferries website this morning to see for myself – not that I didn’t believe them. As of 10:22am (when I began writing this), the 11am sailing from Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay, on Vancouver Island, was at NINETY-FIVE percent capacity – this after seeing images on the TV news of near empty ferries early in the week. ...
