RUSTAD - Shame on politicians, environmental groups and shysters who are scaring children for their own ends

Short and sweet.   Nechako Lakes MLA John Rustad captures the thoughts of many in just 131 words There's an issue that has been bugging me for some time but a meeting this week has brought me to this statement: Children around the world are expressing a fear that the world is about to end due to global warming. In a meeting this week a school age child stated the world is about to end with a slight crack in their voice. Shame on politicians, environmental groups and shysters who are scaring children for their own ends. It disgusts me to think that these people believe the ends justify the means. Children unable to sleep, having nightmares and trying to map a future without hope. Absolutely unacceptable. The environment is an issue. It needs to be addressed. But scaring children to further an end is absolutely wrong and unacceptable.
