A recent change in the U.K.’s voting system may revive a conversation about changing British Columbia’s age restrictions. The U.K. government announced its decision to lower the voting age to 16 by the next general election slated for 2029. In 1992, Canada followed the U.K., lowering the voting age from 21 to 18 years.
