“I am a Canadian, free to speak without fear, free to worship in my own way, free to stand for what I think right, free to oppose what I believe wrong, or free to choose those who shall govern my country. This heritage of freedom I pledge to uphold for myself and all mankind.” ~~ John G. Diefenbaker

Despite its growing influence across multiple policy areas, few Canadians are aware of the IIU’s reach — or the extent to which their behaviour is being subtly shaped by design

Canada’s Privy Council Office (PCO) has a behavioural science unit established under former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau that quietly shapes public policy and influences citizen compliance through psychological experiments and data modelling. The Impact and Innovation Unit (IIU), which bases its framework on a UK government initiative and tools issued by the World Health Organization (WHO), has quietly pioneered its approach to behaviour change using psychology, economics and social sciences for years  — but its role became most visible in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.  The IIU conducts behaviour-modifying trials and public “challenges” that test government communication strategies and incentives to encourage compliance with government objectives ... The Andrew Lawton Show | Leslyn Lewis pumps petition to pull Canada from United Nations (True North)

Conservative MP Leslyn Lewis has sponsored a petition calling on Canada to withdraw from the United Nations and the World Health Organization, saying Canada’s membership in these bodies has undermined the “health rights and freedom of Canadians.” Liberal and NDP MPs have accused Lewis and the Conservatives of being dangerous conspiracy theorists as a result. What do you think? True North’s Andrew Lawton weighs in ... CLICK HERE for the full commentary

FORSETH: Sadly ... beating the drum of crazed WEF and COVID conspiracies does nothing to bring about things the ‘majority’ people of Canada are desperate to see in and from their government

This morning in my political email Inbox, came another in what has been hundreds of emails from all of the candidates seeking to become the next leader of the Conservative Party of Canada, and from that, the opportunity to become Prime Minister after the next federal election. This morning’s email was from Leslyn Lewis, who is taking a second shot at it.   In it, she made what I consider to be some pretty wild statements and accusations – including her beginning statement that: ... The United Nations is fuelling a misinformation campaign that they cleverly disguise as a war on conspiracy theories She then continued ... The UN has put out a framework for people to assess and ultimately undermine the legitimate questions that people are asking of their governments by labelling these questions as “conspiracy theories” ... it is a clear agenda to control thought by pitting citizens against each other and to police the thoughts of their neighbours . ... It is textbook gaslighting – a ...

DAN ALBAS -- Canada has now fallen to 15th place in terms of total doses of vaccine administered per country

Here in Canada we have witnessed firsthand the challenges of COVID vaccine administration due to lack of procurement supply from the Trudeau Liberal government. To put this in perspective, Washington State between January 25-29th went from having administered over 500,000 doses of COVID vaccine to 616,589 doses. That is an increase of 116,589 doses in a matter of days. Here in B.C. , over the same time frame, we went from having administered 119,850 doses up 129,241 doses. This is an increase of just 9,391 doses by comparison. This is by no means a criticism of the Provincial Health Officer or any of the regional health authorities. Simply put, provinces cannot vaccinate citizens without sufficient vaccine supply. For these reasons Canada has now fallen to 15th place in terms of total doses of vaccine administered per country. Canada drops even further behind if factoring in the total number of vaccination doses administered per 100 people in the population. With t...

FELDSTED -- This government has replaced safety and security with anxiety, fear and uncertainty

COMMENTARY REFERENCE   To build back better, we must reinvent capitalism ... The pandemic has brought into focus many of the vulnerabilities in our systems and institutions.  But it also offers us a chance to shape a more resilient and sustainable world. Here's how businesses and policy-makers can start building the green and inclusive future we need ..... CLICK HERE to read the full story   We are to believe that by destroying capitalism that we can rebuild a more robust capitalism? Let's have these chaps share a little of whatever they are imbibing. First, they convince our governments that the only way to combat a virus epidemic is to quarantine the entire population for an extended period. Most of the nation shut down with devastating effects on our economy, personal health and well-being. Efforts to provide income replacement for people forced out of their livelihoods have been deliberately overly complicated, piecemeal and unfocused. Financial ...
