’20 for 2020’ ... reconfigure all government ministries, to more closely align them in sensible groupings, or singular entities

Again, it’s been another busy day with the Thoughts on BC Politics and More blog site, however, not to late for todays “20 for 2020” idea and commentary. Right now, our provincial government operates under nearly two dozen separate ministries – do we really need that many?  Perhaps it's time to look at incorporating the 4 P's into government. With that in mind, I'd like The Four "P's" of the Lean Philosophy recommend beginning with a r econfiguration of all government ministries, to more closely align them in sensible groupings, or singular entitie s . Here are my suggestions ... Agriculture and Food Attorney General Citizen Services ... including: Arts, Culture, and Tourism Emergency Preparedness Indigenous Relations Parks and Recreation Rural Development Education ... including: K to 12 Advanced Education, Skills and Training Jobs, Trades...
