Canada's Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau Last weekend, the Prime Ministers Office (PMO) announced that Justin Trudeau would be speaking at the global mineral exploration and mining convention on Monday. I wondered what Prime Minister Trudeau could possibly have to say, to those attending the convention, that would give them any sense of confidence about the future for mining in Canada. In fact, I actually stated online, “It will be NOTHING ... just useless and meaningless words is all that will come out of Trudeau's mouth” Well I wasn’t disappointed -- well no, in actual fact I was disappointed (but not surprised) -- that at least in my opinion he really didn’t have much that would give those involved in Canada’s resource industry much hope.
