PLEASE NOTE ... this commentary was edited at 12:30pm to correct several spelling errors, and for grammar.  The thrust of the story has not in any way been changed It’s interesting how (un)informed, and (un)enlightened some people can be when it comes to providing thoughtful discussion on all manner of topics ... especially politics. Take comments made to a post in the Tyee on Facebook, about allegations that Conservative Party leader has no idea what it’s like to have the money to pay bills at the end of the month.  Instead of understanding that coming from a solid middle-class family would have given him an eyeful about difficulties they face, instead the story went straight to when he went in to politics, and the salary he earned then.  Apparently, a back-bench salary is a financial jackpot.  It would seem Paul Wilcocks, the writer of the article, may perhaps be unaware of the costs and toll it can and often does take on a family, for someone who for the ...

BC Premier Christy Clark -- (Gov BC website photo) When a political party has been in power as long as the BC Liberals have been, I think it is safe to say those at the top begin to worry about how long they can stay their -- after all, everything should / does have a best before date. So do the Christy Clark BC Liberals really care about British Columbians?  Some, perhaps, would say "NO ... not really".  Except to the extent that they can fleece us of our hard earned pay, and then spin it into self-congratulatory advertising to let us know about how wonderful they ... oooops I mean the government is. Again, some perhaps would wonder if there is any other way to look at the situation, other than to say that our hard-earned money is being wasted by the government --- for self-congratulatory advertising. My disappointment for the questionable way they bombard us with advertising , which anyone could easily mistake for a Liberal campaign ...
