The United Nation’s Security Council also includes several of the world’s worst regimes, when it comes to human rights violations and wars against its own citizens
Apparently today (October 24th) is United Nations Day, and our Prime Minister Justin Trudeau issued a statement regarding it. I have taken his statement, and interspersed an extremely small sampling to show how in-effective the United Nations actually is. While many will argue that it has a role and a place in the global nations of the world (on this I do not argue) it seems that millions have died in armed conflicts between nations ... in civil wars ... in massacres and the murders of tens of thousands in minority ethnic groups ... in human trafficking ... in the use of poison gases ... and through the rape and sexual exploitation of young girls and women. In many – or perhaps the vast majority of cases – the UN does little but wag a finger of displeasure for fear of upsetting the worlds so-called super powers.
