BC Liberals release campaign debrief report

 

Following the results of the 2020 provincial election, the BC Liberal Party Executive struck a Campaign Debrief Committee tasked with the process of carrying out an extensive review of the party’s campaign. After an extensive RFP process the committee engaged Counsel Public Affairs Inc. to prepare the independent review.

 

“Only with openness and transparency can the work of rebuilding and renewing our party continue and this important review of the 2020 provincial election campaign will help us achieve these goals and revitalize the party. That’s why we are releasing the report to our members and the public today.” said Don Silversides, Acting Party President.

 

“With the race for a new leader underway, it’s important for members to have this information as we chart a new path forward for the party.”

The election of a new leader will take place on February 5, 2022. In order to be eligible to vote the deadline for individuals to join the party or renew a membership is December 29, 2021.

FORSETH: As a BC Conservative member, and campaign worker, I will again state that the fact these errors were found -- AND brought to light BY Elections BC -- shows the system IS working

Sadly, two and a half weeks after the BC provincial election campaign, those who want to undermine our political process are still at.  PLUS, we also have one who doesn’t even live in our country, never mind our province. I speak of the buffoon running for President of the United States, who has poisoned the well when it comes to faith in the electoral process. Just today alone, comments such as the following, were being made of posts that I shared online: ... all the votes they keep finding has just favoured NDP on in all critical ridings and soon they will flip another riding in favour of NDP, Come on. ...
