Key anti-money-laundering Cullen inquiry recommendations not implemented (Times Colonist)


Nearly 18 months after the Cullen commission made two key recommendations, one to create a special investigation unit and the other to create an independent commissioner, neither has been implemented.

The federal government has announced new measures to support British Columbia's forestry sector, including $65 million in funding for projects across the province. While any support is welcome, it falls far short of the level of assistance other provinces have secured for key industries.
