Our province is in the early stages of our Restart Plan, meaning the province will start to re-open businesses, parks, and activities that weren’t deemed essential.
The next step is to introduce a recovery plan that will help get our economy back on its feet.
I want you to know that Sonia and I are pushing for a green recovery.
We cannot let the government put climate action on the back burner.
A green recovery wouldn’t just mean helping our children and grandchildren withstand future crises. It would mean more jobs now, a strong start for our economy, and long-term security.
We must focus on greening our economy, electrifying more, improving energy efficiency, and making investments that will reduce our emissions.
This is the time to rebuild the province that we’ve envisioned.
