It seems like Facebook is doing the work of Justin Trudeau in ensuring there is NO ONE able to criticize or comment on how his government operates


Well it seems that yesterday our friends at Facebook decided to take down the group page "Thoughts on BC Politics and More" without any notice or explanation. 

The page had been online for some time now and I had never received one comment from anyone who took issue with any commentaries that were presented.

With that in mind, I find it interesting Facebook would take this page down for a couple of reasons.

1) I have encouraged a number of contributors from all sides and aspects of the political spectrum to participate with commentaries -- and they do.

2) Facebook itself SENT ME notices about advertising opportunities to boost posts on stories presented on this page

IT'S DISGUSTING that they would basically take on the role of a dictator, censor, and limiter of freedom of speech. I feel confident in stating this because, as I mentioned, I had NO OPPORTUNITY to comment or discuss any issues they may have had.

Phase 2 of Burnaby Hospital redevelopment  was green lit to go ahead in September 2023 The NDP spent $45 million on the Burnaby Hospital redevelopment, cancelled the second phase, and now has another $61 million listed for the project in the province’s Public Accounts, with no start date for construction. While Canada posted modest job gains in July, warning lights are still flashing in British Columbia.
